The Endorsement
HOW DOES THE TRANSFER OF A WAREHOUSE RECEIPT WORK?
Negotiable warehouse receipts can be transferred to their new owner by endorsement (address and signature).
An endorsement is a notation – in this case on the back of the negotiable warehouse receipts – through which the rights to the instrument are transferred to a new beneficiary.
There is no obligation to report an endorsement.
Your warehouse receipts you can sell at any given moment. Your warehouse receipts are freely negotiable. There are no further formal requirements.
